Rats are increasingly invading homes throughout the UK, with numbers particularly on the increase in London. The type of rat you are most likely to encounter is the Brown Rat. As the name suggests, Brown Rats are generally dark brown in colour and range in size from 12 to 30 cm in length (without the tail).
